Here in the Morganville art room, the students are given a chance to express
themselves creatively. Most of our art projects are history based. We feel that it is
important for our students to understand where various art forms originated and
how they evolved. It gives the art projects more meaning for the students and puts
things into perspective for them. The students are given a chance to explore
various types of art media while creating in the art room. Throughout the year
students will utilize are media such as paint, clay, watercolor and plaster. All in all
the art program at the Morganville campus tries to have a well rounded approach

Each year Brookdale Community College holds The Monmouth County Teen Arts Festival.
This year our students chose to participate in it. Our student’s worked hard on their art work
that was displayed proudly in the show. One of our student’s pieces was chosen to be
displayed at the State Teen Art Show in Trenton.
