Coastal Learning Center, Morganville Campus, takes pride in our
activities. We have many on campus activities as well as the use of facilities in
our neighboring area to help enhance our program.
Our school has a field that is used for kickball, volleyball, field day and much
more. We also have a basketball court where pick up games and 3 on 3
tournaments are played.
CLC Morganville has a state of the art playground for our elementary division.
Chess is very popular game with our students. For students that do not know
how to play, we provide lessons. Our students enjoy playing against our staff
and each other. Twice a year we hold Chess tournaments where the top
three winners are given trophies.
Mancala is a simple game which has been around for many thousands of
years. It's origin is thought to be Egyptian/Africian. Students that show an
interest in playing are taught and play against each other throughout the school
year. We then have tournaments amongst the students, which they really enjoy
participating in.
This is where we take our students to participate in basketball and
football games. The facility has an indoor soccer field where we play
football. Basketball games are held on the indoor hockey rink. This is
home court for our basketball team.
This facility has batting cages and an indoor basketball court. Students are taken here for fun and
is also used for the softball team to practice hitting. Students enjoy shooting baskets while waiting
for their turn in a batting cage.
The gym gives our students an opportunity to lift weights and exercise. Our staff works with the
students to improve their strength training
This is the facility that we use to bring our students twice a week to go bowling. This is also where the
bowling team practices and has there meets.
